My
obsession with Pinterest first began back when I was in high school. My
boyfriend at the time asked me to be his grad date, so I of course said yes.
Being a girl all I could think about was finding the perfect dress because it
would be my first fancy and fun dress that I had gotten to wear. The first thing
I did was go online and search grad dresses. Of course there were actual
websites for designer dresses, but I was looking for a bargain since I still
had to save up money for my own grad dress the next year. Luckily I stumbled
upon a website called Pinterest, which took me to a board designated to cheap
grad date dresses. I had never heard of this site before and I had no clue as
to how it worked.
I made an
account and navigated the website figuring out that it wasn’t just a dress
website it had everything under the sun including clothes, jokes, dogs,
vacation spots, and recipes. I started to make my own boards on my profile and
was re-posting pins that I liked so everyone could see what I was interested
in. By the end of the night I had sixteen boards about different things, and
all I remember thinking was holy smokes I am in heaven.
