Travel Bug

            Travelling has been one of my biggest goals in life, and so far I’ve only gone to three provinces and 4 states, which is more than some people but nowhere near enough for me. All I want to do is see the world and experience as much culture, diversity and variety of every continent and city. Pinterest has allowed me to see many different countries that I now want to travel to. With Pinterest I pinned one post about Venice Italy

and from that post it led me to another individuals board and showed me a million little places in Europe that people don’t know about like this cave in Portugal
 or it reminded me to go to the bridge in Germany where you put your lock on the bridge to resemble your ever lasting love and to get good luck.

            My board is full of different adventures and little hideaways that most people don’t know about and hopefully one day places that I’ll see in person. This board is not only full of posts of beautiful cities it’s full of dreams and expectations for not only me but also other people who look at my board. 

The Beginning of Pinterest

            My obsession with Pinterest first began back when I was in high school. My boyfriend at the time asked me to be his grad date, so I of course said yes. Being a girl all I could think about was finding the perfect dress because it would be my first fancy and fun dress that I had gotten to wear. The first thing I did was go online and search grad dresses. Of course there were actual websites for designer dresses, but I was looking for a bargain since I still had to save up money for my own grad dress the next year. Luckily I stumbled upon a website called Pinterest, which took me to a board designated to cheap grad date dresses. I had never heard of this site before and I had no clue as to how it worked.

            I made an account and navigated the website figuring out that it wasn’t just a dress website it had everything under the sun including clothes, jokes, dogs, vacation spots, and recipes. I started to make my own boards on my profile and was re-posting pins that I liked so everyone could see what I was interested in. By the end of the night I had sixteen boards about different things, and all I remember thinking was holy smokes I am in heaven.
